Honda Wave 110 | Satu Untuk Semua (Director Cut)

Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd today unveiled the All-New Wave 110 that offers higher standards, more power and better efficiency, providing enhanced riding experience to bikers. Built on Honda values and the success of its Honda Wave 100 which was introduced in 2006 and sold an impressive 274,000 units, the All-New Wave 110 is set to delight discerning bike lovers who prioritise value added performance, fuel efficiency and stylish. The All-New Wave 110 is packed with high value features that makes it a “One for All” bike brings more joy of riding to more customers.


The Making 

A new challenge was given to us for the making of the commercial.

We were asked to create a sand storm to show the arrival of the new Honda Wave. However, instead of a typical tornado storm, we created a sand wave (just like a sea wave) to tie up with the name of the product. A new wave (Honda Wave & sand wave) is coming to town!

There were a lot of set extensions to be done to give the vast desert feeling to the commercial. Sand mounds from the shoot were taken out or made smaller and sky replacements were done because of the unforgiving weather condition during the shoot day. This was also the first time we did our own full colour grade so that we could manipulate the shots to the satisfaction of our clients.
